Students enjoy creating temporary felt board sculptures with found shapes or using scissors to cut their own.

Third and Fourth Grade students learned about art that does not represent a person, place, or thing. This abstract or nonrepresentational art uses lines, shapes, colors, and textures as subject matter. Students planned their ideas in their sketchbook and then drew their composition with pencil. I encouraged them to use a simple pallet of two colors plus their tint.
Students enjoyed a variety of sculpture materials to make these three dimensional creations. |
