Sketch book center
Students draw from a variety of inspirational prompts. Each week there is a suggested theme with an idea sheet or an actual still life.
Students manipulate felt shapes to create a unique composition. This exercise encourages creative problem solving and allows students to work together.
Felt Board Center
This center provides students with a chance to create a mosaic. Students learn how to plan an idea, use two dimensional space and explore part to whole relationships.
Mosaic Cube Center
Students enjoy creating narrative pictures and symmetrical designs from these translucent geometric shapes.
This center allows students to work together to create sculptures of castles, museums,water parks and more.
Students have the opportunity to build temporary sculptures from clay and dough. This activity builds fine motor skills and requires imagination.
